it will fit but i dont know if it will be ienough ''stand off'' we need some numbers for that or an actual fit test

I can't answer for sure but 99.9% yes.

How does it balance out with that heavier pack? Also what esc are you using I'm running a eflite 40 amp right now.

Balances ok with 4s 2650mAh 50-90c... Shoved as far back in the canopy area

Hope to get it to balance with a 4s 3000 40c when my stinger arrives.
Might need a little foam removal and strategic placement of the 80A plush esc

I placed the ESC rigt infront of the EDF unit and used a heavier motor.. a 2200mah was just balancing pushed all the way back. .. ofcourse it was a heavy 2200mah but how light can a 3000mah be?

360g actually 40g heavier than a 2650
I will make it balance. Stay tuned, hopefully it will arrive in time for the weekend

Yep it will balance out one way or another... my motor is heavier than the stock one too!

Yeah and it's not exactly where the original was positioned either... easy to move it back a little then you can load up the bigger battery to balance it, is it gonna be ready for the weekend Jim?
