I think the yellow forks are like the original ones and they're going to stay like this...

The leaning rider in a 1/18th scale... is a bit too small it would be great indeed, I see no mechanism coming out of the seat area so I doubt the rider will lean.

I really like it! can't wait to try one!

Dan, will we meet in Nurnberg?

Ciao

Looks like it will have programmable electronics unless that's just the charger. It uses the little battery like my eflight micro helis ..the radio says kyosho on it. This might be very inexpensive unit, probably around $69.00 I hope.

I use the KO 2.4GHz ASF module in my M11 for my Mini-Zs. Looking forward to adding another model to the memory...

Sorry if I offend anyone here... But I think the bike looks absolutely terrible...
Very poor attention to detail... Regardless of scale, and the scale is all out of wack too, the forks hang way out front... I know Jorge Lorenzo isn't that tall, but their version of him has him about 4foot tall...

I'm really disappointed... The Silverlit bike ( which is a toy ) makes the Kyosho bike look like a toy..!

Opertunity missed here Mr Kyosho...

I was thinking the exact same thing Luke, i think the silverlit has a lot more detail & i don't like how the handle bars are on the chassis either it does not look scale at all.

Cheers.

Hi, Kyosho has just put this up at their website.
I hope the Japanese RC magazine will have an article
on it this month.

Silverlit is a 1:12 scale, Kyosho is a 1:18.
I think that the take angle can be adjusted, if not that one is too much, for the scale look at least.

Even I am selling the BP12 as a 12th scale bike, i have to say this one is really nice. From the pictures it looks like it is controlled by a direct steering with a flex wire bewteen steering head and servo. Let`s hope that the gyro can be programmed to decide between agillity and stabillity. Nothing would be worse, than having a onroad bike behaving like an offroad one.
Looking forward to try one

Cheers
Peter

The german Kyosho Page already has a Video:

Mini-Z Moto Racer (4 min 4 sec)

If this Bike really runs on a tight Mini-Z Track, I accept that it has less Details than the Silverlit.

I think it really runs on it, I did not see any line!

From the video it seems you can adjust the speed of the gyro, also according to the speed of the bike.

Really interesting.

On the 1/4th scale bike it's not possible, the gyro inertia is much too much, it would drain a lot of current from the battery.
