From my experience, it's the scale that counts.

If the track is built for 1:12 Cars, you will have problems using 1:8 Scale Bikes..

So yes, even if a 1:12 Scale Bike has almost the same size as a Mini-Z car, you will get in trouble on the typical Mini-Z Track.
The only thing that really helps could be a gyro.

sorry mate we dont have 1/12 bikes accept the silverlit down here we use 1/8 bikes on 1/10 car tracks and 1/5 on 1/8 tracks and its nothing but fun so a 1/12 on a 1/10 track would be amazing and most of all a shite load of fun

Yeah choook your not wrong it is a blast ripping laps on a 1/10 car track with the 1/12 silverlit especially with the brushless combo & direct steering, you need the space to use the power, there is nothing like hitting the straight & letting it rip i love it

We might have to take some of Ado's toy's off him for a while so he can concentrate on finishing that custom chassis, they work really well.

Cheers.

I have run the GPV on a small 1/10 indoor carpet track oval before. The lap times were 1 second off of the 12th pan cars. It comes down to set up and skill. You can run a bike just about anywhere but ideally you want the track to be much larger in relation to the bike so more than one can run at the same time.

1/8 track - 1/5 to 1/8 bikes
1/10 track - 1/8 to 1/12 bikes

If you have an electric gyro in an on-road bike 1/12 to 1/8 then you can run it just about anywhere regardless of the track size.
