e-starter wing

has anyone ever cut the wing tips off the e-starter wing.i got an extra wing from a friend and chopped the tips.i just havent tried to fly it.i think im gonna try to build a fuse and slap this wing on it.what do you think. tom

The little downward quarter circles on the tips of the E-Starter's wing are used for extra stability. The He-162 is a good example of a real plane that used a similar (if not identical) design.

I think the E-Starter will fly without them, it just won't be as stable. I'm not sure what GWS fixes with the stabilizing wing tips, but if its not serious, then you can get away with it.

I have just about ground mine off on the tarmac.....rolls a little better, but no noticable pitfalls.
