Look at the power cable on the pic, its the same.
Aaaaahhhhh, now I get it. The ones I bought had loose cables that's why I did not recognized it. As the other poster mentioned, the inner pin on the connector that mates the rx is the positive, the other is ground. So you take an ohm meter and mesure which of the two has 0 ohm if you tap on the center on the other connector.

On FPVlab I just read that one guy was using the foxtech modules and he could just reach 300m. He was using CL and SPW. He tested 3 different modules with the same results.
What do you think about that ?
I'm still waiting on my 3.3volt becs from china. I fear they have got lost It has been over a month since they were sent. I will wait as I know things can take up to 2 months.

yup me too ..as long as they arrive soon as the new season has started. I am only looking for about 500 meters clear range as these little units are going on parkflyers. One is going in a corsair and the other into hobbyking Kinetic. I am even breaking my rule on flying on 2.4ghz ... spectrum dx6i no less They aren't being flown anymore since they are not fpv so using what I have to get them back in the air as cheaply as possible.

I have a problem with that. I am lazy. I hate charging batteries and especially batteries that are different s ratings. These planes are going on s2 / s3 batteries. One battery setup just makes life easier. One less thing to watch. I am putting a e-osd in each as I love to fly without really caring about the battery. Like I said, I am a lazy flyer ... or organiser.

I tried the 3.3v BEC from Hobby King and had severe interference, diagonal lines. Used an LM1117T 3.3v linear regulator no problems.

I fear this will be the case. I am going to try an LC filter after the bec to see if that cleans anything up. If not .. plan b

No 3.3v. 5v would have blown the Tx.

Probably he means 5V at the input of LM1117T and 3.3 output powering the module.

The camera and microphone were 12v, I hooked up the reg input to the 3s lipo to test for noise.
