I really like the floats I use. They are light and strong. They come from Plane Fun Floats. They are foam cores with a ply spine for strength and it gives you a good place to put your mounting screws.
When the cores are done, he does a really nice job of sheeting them with balsa.
Great floats already built for about the same price as it costs you to build a pair from a kit.

Herr cub

Here is my little Herr cub on Hz super cub floats. Hope to fly it saturday, it is supposed to be a beautiful day. Just got the floats in the mail yesterday thanks "Jalee7903" for a great set of floats.

Montreal Fall Floatfly

Fantastic Indian Summer day in Montreal today: 21 degrees under the sun!

Here are 3 of my seaplanes:

Lanier Mariner 120: Tacon Big Foot 110, Ice 100a and 5000 8S lipo (16x8 prop)
Great Planes Seawind: Rimfire 60 with 2 x 3600 6S lipo in parrallel (11x8 3-blade)
KMP CL-215: 2X Tacon 46 and 2x4000 5S lipo (MS 14x7 3-blade)

You're right, I loved the video. Looks like the cub is powered by a twin and it is totally scale with rivets on the floats. Where is a description of the cub? Manufacturer, size, motor, floats, etc...

I got to see it before you had to take it down... enjoyed the music, but I was wondering how you got away with using copyrighted music. I have been using "free" music for my videos.
