My uncle has been out of the hobby for over a decade, and decided to return with a Lanier Mariner. The ringed ST engine hand-started easily during run-in, but became a bit balky when the water was in sight.
Throws were too high, trims were off, sun was glaring, but it came back in one piece under its own power. ![]() (no wood ticks were harmed during filming, unfortunately)

Celi, I like your birds! For some reason your junkyard reminded me of 20,000 leagues under the sea when I saw the build photo's! Very cool build.
