Hangar 9 Fokker D-VII Discontinued?

Has the Hangar 9 Fokker D-VII been discontinued? It's disappeared from the Horizon and HobbyZone sites . . .

Doh! Thanks for providing the confirmation. I guess I'll be "ghosting" ebay, the classifieds here, etc.

neat airplane

I thought about getting one myself, but didn't like the color scheme. My eyes aren't that good and it's harder for me to track a blue airplane.

There is one at Frank's hobbies in Phoenix that is built and recovered in Lozenge. It looks sweet. TW

Shame, that one had always been on my "want list." Just never got around to it.

Glad I scooped up mine last year. I finally maidened a few weeks ago with a sound system too.

Beautiful flying plane, and a floater even though I'm at least 1 lbs over spec. weight.

That's pretty much my story--I'd been "building up to" it and some others, progressing through some of the WWI Great Planes models, getting an E-Flite T-34 to get used to larger wooden planes, etc. I'm sure something else will come along if I don't snag this one, and I already have a Powerline Albatros and Nitroplanes Fokker Dr-I in the build line. I was just surprised to have the D-VII discontinued with no further adieu.

Well I am SO glad I got it for my birthday in February, though I don't think it will get built for a while.

I know where I could find one locally, but Ive had two...both were glow powered though and the only reason Id buy it is for a quickie everyday WWI flier and make it electric.
But...I have a 1/4 scale BalsaUSA Fokker Dr-1 thats electric.....so dont really need a 60 size DVII. Anyhoo....I painted both of my two previous ones as i didnt like the paint scheme anyway.

If horizon released a 60 size DR-1 or Albatross, Id buy it, but the Powerline series are too small for my liking.

Got up for another flight today. This is a sweet bird to say the least.

The sound system is a treat, and the guys at the club love it.

Coimin' in on a low pass at idle with the motor sound chugging and the gun sounds blazing very cool.
