The new batch of Motley Crew's shouldn't need the upgraded flex shaft anymore, but you can still run one if you want. The stock rudder does a great job, no need for a replacement. The stock ESC is already water cooled and doesn't run that hot with the stock motor either.

IMO get a new prop (grim 42x55 or octura m445), solder on 5.5mm bullets and enjoy it.

No need at all the swap out the rudder unless you are putting an SV one on for the cooling pickup, Set the CG to 30%, start with the strut even and level with the bottom of the sponsons, raise the strut slightly to lift the nose until you get it aired out nicely.
No need to change the CG for different water or windy conditions, just lower the strut a bit and the boat tightens up nicely.

Should be interesting on this setup , prop is top secret ... no clue when ill actually be able to run her.
Sorry for delay, lot's of stuff was going on...

Tested this setup. I was very VERY pleased with how the motor performed. Sadly I did forget my eagletree at home. I ran the setup 3 different times for 3 minutes each. The hottest the motor reached was 105F and the Swordfish 200 reached 115F at the boards. The motor/esc did not mind the prop. I did however find that the hull did not like the prop at all which was disappointing. The prop was a x447/3 cut down to 42mm, detongued with a slight cup. I generated a lot of prop walk in the hull and the transom had a very noticeable shimmy. I love the motor/esc combo though. I ran twice on 4s1p setups. The first was Gens Ace 2s 5300mah 25c/50c they handled pretty good, but did kick the lvc in prematurely a few times. I figured they where getting pushed for that to happen, next I tried 2s 6000mah 25/50c nano-techs. They also kicked in premature on the lvc even more then the Gens aces. I then went to 4s2p and the hull liked the extra weight and the system responded better to the 2p setup. I gps'd the first run with a disappointing 48.8mph, but when I seen how bad the prop walk was, speed (like normal for me) wasn't a goal. I wanted to try some different props, but of course my prop box was next to my eagle tree left at home I'm thinking a m445 next or even actually propping down to a grim 40x52/3 and using a 1p setups as i have more 2s packs then 4s packs. I also have my trusty grim 42x55 I would like to try. My goal is to get this think running as perfect as I can get without top speed as the #1 goal. I'll load some video soon.

Any of those props are fine. Prathers are pretty wicked. I'm just a HUGE 42x55 fan. I love that prop...
