We maiden the T-33 today. A great flying jet and performed very well in the 100 degree heat here in Las Vegas with the 90mm fan. Had trouble with the left main inner gear door holding the gear from retracting. I think a stiffer spring will fix this problem.

BTW, the main gear doors issue, I have the suggestion as the attached photo for solving this problem. Pls try it. if you have any question, pls feel free to contact me.

Hey Is anyone else out there, in T-33-land, running the 120mm set-up? Just tryin' to get some numbers, to go by/compare. I've seen plenty of 90mm's, and it looks like moves pretty well on those....

there is no reason whtsoever to use a 120 in this model. the inet area is barely enough for a 90. your going to be a good 1-2 pounds heavier on a 120, less flight times, and same perforamnce as a 90. mine from the video was only on 8s 90mm about 2500W, and you can see it performed great. and to be honest, i wouldnt trust the airframe much past the speeds mine was going. and i certainly wouldnt want it to weight more and effect the awesome slow flight capabilities it has. thats just my opinion though

I'm pretty busy these days though, might be a while for the Kfir vid..

LA Jets is going to be sweeeeet!
We'll have at least three Snipers (yours, Steve's, and mine) plus your new T-33 I hope! We can get some new HD T-33 footage.

Vic

Thanx, CorsairNut. See, here's the deal: My flyin' Bro. wanted Bigger, Better Faster, so he went with the 120 on this plane w/160A esc. It's a real "museum piece". Best of everything. Just don't want to see this bird, turn into a pile of "foam-salad". I've seen it flying on YouTube(Tim Wan's T-33), but there's not much print on this set-up, that I can find. (probably with good reason) Just being a good "wing-man", that's what we do.....
