I recently had a near fly-away as my quad got some wind under it. My main interest in the GPS would be the return-to-home feature. I’m wondering about the specifics though of how this will function. At the time I was losing mine, it was over a large group of trees. I’m using a DX6i transmitter and Orange RX w/satellite. Besides the standard 4 channels, I fly with ACC mode engaged, so will it be possible to flip a switch and engage the RTH function at the same time? Will the GPS still be on & have a lock without being “switched on” via the transmitter? Also, will it maintain its current altitude until it gets to its “home” position before starting to descend? (Because if it comes down into the trees, that defeats the purpose, at least for me).

Not a problem, I know it's a lot of questions, but hopefully other people will have their questions answered at the same time.

1. I see what looks like a bolt head on the GPS board – How does it attach to the main board?

It is going to come with one standoff and the pins already soldered to the GPS.

2. How does it attach electrically?
It connects on top of the Quadrino and there will be a few pins to solder!

3. Will it work on any board version?
It should mount to all the boards. It is made for the Quadrino only! ( it can be used on ther Multi-Wii boards but they are going to have to figure out how to mount it!

4. What parameters need to be changed in the firmware via Audrino?
There will be a file that you will be able to load and it will do it all!

5. Can the user program “waypoints”?
Not at this momment, It is coming!

6. Does it cause a noticeable drain on the battery?
Nope! 55ma!

There you go brother!

Hey guys, Doc,
Got some new Turnigy ESCs to replace the beaten-up ones in my Witespy quad (same red Plush ones) & something seems to be wrong: when I plug in the battery I get the "tu-da-de" chirp but then, instead of all the ESCs beeping one more time together, the front-left one beeps first (a few times, ~1sec interval) then the other 3 together a second later - and it keeps doing that.
The order is correct ... what else can it be? Thanks

could be several things?
Calibrate them all!
Lower your mini throttle, in the sketch.
Check your throttle trim!
looking at the video, try the min command first!
Lower it to 900 and see if that works.
If you look real close they are all beeping!
Start there!
