No problem, learning from the experience of others is what these forums are all about. You are going to love the way it handles once the FC is in straight !. Perhaps Colin should relabel "N" with "Front" on future board revisions.
cheers
Tony

Thats kind of funny because the thing hovers good and flies like a dream compared to other things I've flown. Oh boy i'm excited now.

Just to be clear.
I am supposed to use the North arrow as the direction mark for forward, right?
I wish I had time to mess with it tonight.
I wonder how many people do that? I remember when setting it up, wondering which symbol should be used. In my mind I rationalized the motor symbol as the way to align the board.

Thank You Tony

Awesome, the N arrow fixed my problem. My x525 flies like a dream and it not totally setup yet. What a great flight controller. Thanks for all the help guys, and I'm sure I will have a million more questions.

I remember my thought process now on deciding to use the the motor symbol instead of the north symbol. I had decided that the reason the N symbol was on there was only to see if the mag was calibrated, and functioning properly when you yawed the copter.
The motor symbol has a little arrow out to the side so I decided that was for board orientation.
Just another case of me over thinking something. Haha.

When in doubt ask the DOC.
Hahahahaha, That would be my motto if I knew everything.
But I don't! Darn it.

Man I am still lauging over here. See that is just too funny.
It should say front, really.
You read that and you have no doubt at all.
Oh yeah , that symbol on the side tells you that there is gyros compensating in each direction.
Funny thin is when you flip the board over one very important gyro stops working.
It is the Pitch.
That is the one I need to hover inverted.
I know it is coming.
I am just waiting.
Single rotor and multirotor doing 3D demo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That would be a fun one to see. Like playing 21 with a basketball.

After downloading drivers for my mac, my board is recognized and lights up in ready mode. I downloaded multiwii v1.9 for config... then unzipped all files, and tried to run both commands and both version 1.7 and 1.9 And this is all I get when entering the command in terminal:

chmod +x MultiWiiConf_1_9.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub
chmod: MultiWiiConf_1_9.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub: No such file or directory

EDIT: So problem solved after tons of wasted time I found that I was just following an old tuturoial and first I needed to update my firmware, to 2.1 with the arduino loader. Then use the 2.1 multiwii config for the rest... all is good now. Just a lack of not searching all material and reading an tutorial on the website that I would think to be updated.

I did it that way the first time, thought wow this quadrino board is garbage. Then while holding it in my hand and running it I could not figure out why it would tip left and right while I was pitching up and down, then it dawned on me what the problem was. I am now a quadrino lover

Holy moly what kind of kiss ups are you guys.
And what up with the got to tell on myself.
Hahahahaha.
I am rolling over here. I want to hear some of the other things yu guys did.

I will admit it was not easy for me. I was really upset with the person who suggested this board.
The first time I got it off the ground I new something then.
Then whe I saw the naza perform.
I was like no damm way, I would have had to slap him for 230 bucks.
I guess you know, I am all Quadrino man!
I test fly people stuff after they build it and set it up.
A guy sent me his quad and he cutt all the signal cable clean off right up to the heatshrink.
Wait he didn't just make that mistake once, he did it four times.
Then he called me and told me what he did. I laughed.

Well the biggest lesson I've learned so far was, don't turn on ACC when i am tilting in forward flight while doing FPV. That was a big mistake. I am so ready to fly my new spyder frame.
