That answers that question then. So the bt unit and the GPS can be piggybacked together with no issues.

Do you know if anyone out there is making a second deck type platform that mounts over the FC for these add-ons that will still fit under the plastic dome?

Now that I read that again.... Does the radio turn off once the board is armed or is that the board will no longer receive configuration input once armed?

Because you have a V1E board your profile is very low compared to my V1C and V1D boards. So it is possible to use it and any other top plate with the same mount spacing that the quadrino uses.

The atmega can't save to the eprom unless it is unarmed.

Ok, checking back here since my independent study was approved-
I can't imagine trying to sift through 300 pages of info here, and the RCG search function isn't great, so I've got a few questions-

Does the quadrino controller have GPS support yet? Last time I asked I was told it was coming soon-ish.
And how programmable is it- ie...can you program it for autonomous flight and stuff? Just thinking of capabilities I might need for my project.

Thanks!

The GPS module that colin is working on, will be out soon. He is starting to see the light at the the end of the tunnel, with the recall.
He has lost days in repairing them all.
Sunday he thought it was Friday! Hahahaha!
I am even waiting on a box to show up with my new boards.
Looking forward to get my big quad in the air. We are still testing out motors.
This will be a fast moving FPV and drop ship.
Some of those name brand ones suck bad air. Damm bearings.

As for the Autonomous flight: I have no clue.
I live to close to an airport! Lots of air traffice around me about 200 feet.

That is what I would use instead of the bluetooth. You should be able to use both without an issue. I will double check my info tomorrow.

The advantage of the screen is you don't need your phone at the field.
You still need your computer to set it up first time. You have to setup the sketch, for it to work. but once it does you can you it to make adjustment without any other device.

The bluetooth does not need you to do anything in arduino.
Just plug it in to the right pins and pair it. After that you can use it anytime.
From what I am told, only because mine has not gotten here yet.
Once it is paired you need an app on your phone to use it.

Guys and ladies.
Colin has been burnning the midnight candle to much.
He is sick with what it seems to be the flu.
So let's give him a day or two. Hopefully we see him in WEBEX this Sunday!

I have been using the OLED, I had to get a copy of the config.h file to set it up properly. It works as advertised, the print is small and the tx stick banging takes some getting used to.

I got this board http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...rol_Board.html really made me mad, it flyes just great, easy to setup and just too much fun. Anyway the 4 buttons are really handy for programming, the OLED would be more usefull if it had the 4 buttons.

We have been using this long range radio, we can monitor and make setting in flight. There is a slight glitch when settings are written, we don't make changes to the throttle in flight for obvious reasons https://store.diydrones.com/3DR_Radi...try-3dr915.htm

Wow, look at the Paris.
I thought people were only using them for gimbals.
Hahahaha, just joking.
Where is the BadAZZ Tri-copter you got there?
Can we see it?
