thx Doctor,,,

time for a small confession,,,

i used PatrikE MultiWii AcroTrainer mode!!!

"If combined Roll and Pitch command Exceeds Ex.200 acroTainerMode is activated.
When sticks are centered it will return to Level mode."

read about it on

http://www.multiwii.com/forum/viewto...57a6ff9e2260fd

its a good way to start , and then switch to the real deal.

I had questioned earlier about dual rates. I guess being a long time heli flyer Im trying to set the quad up in a similar fashion. Intentions are to use it as a stable aerial platform for an FPV trainer. Will fly my helis for acro. If I say put Yaw/roll/pitch on 70% D/Rs all I have done is clip the outer limits of the values, center point remains the same. I would assume the amount of differentiation among the motors is lessened just as would be servo travel. If this is the case it will allow on the spot changes to the quad with out using the GUI. Am going to begin to "build" a heli program in the tx and bind it to it when it flys to suit my purpose

Thoughts on the D/R?

Oh if you didn't know guys and girls.
The guru was to have the GPS module out last Friday.
Some of us have been waiting, longer than that.
I am hoping we will see it for sale soon.
I woul love to display it on the 29th at the Snohomish FunFly.
So if you have a big a little issue everyone, lets get them taking care of.
So they can finish it..

Thanks,

DR is great option, just make sure you either leave that mode so you can unarm it.
arm won't work with the yam below 80% on mine.

ThanksDrA! This just gets better. Got my FPV system in this AM. Its pretty cool just playing around with the components. Started a heli program in the tx, as soon as I get the quad 100% tweeked will move it there. I will tie the D/Rs to the second flight mode and the flattened throttle curve.

The only thing I am questionable, is the flattened throttle curve.

luckily the quadrino was protected with a cover.

Its not flattened it becomes non-linear(sloped) between points 2-3-4 on a 5 point curve. Since this is a fixed pitch heli this will help soften the curve a bit when flying slow or hovering. The complete curve is still available, you will just have to move the stick more in this range to get it(similar to expo). Will take the jumpiness out.

Nice there.
I saw whe you was flying straight it kind of pitched up a little.
Could you may need to bring Your I higher to stop that.
See if that work, unless you had a couple gust of wind.!
Nice job on the flips.

It was dead calm, bit hard to see it when it's up high and not knowing the angle it would level out at
