This use standard Y4 configuration and there is no asymmetries.

Doesn't the v-tail decrease your efficiency since the horizontal force vectors are canceling out? If your rotors are tilted 30 deg for example, then your vertical thrust vector would be cos30=.86 so you only have 86% of your thrust in the vertical direction for both those motors, thereby decreasing your overall vertical lift to 93%. Is there some advantage that I'm not seeing? I mean, it does look pretty cool, but I'm just wondering if there was another reason.

The coolness factor should not be underrated . It's likeness to the Hunter Killer from the Terminator is a hugh factor in purchasing decision.

That being said, on the video was an 8 minute flight, burned 1600 mAh of a 2600 pack. Not super aggressive flying, but like all my quads, if I do a full throttle vertical blast for 5 seconds, they kind of disappear in the sky, so does it really matter in terms of efficiency?

My quads do fly nice, but I love the orientation of a tri-copter, and this v-tail flies better and is very easy to see from an orientation standpoint.

Besides ..... it is WAY COOL.

Is that a frame you're selling? Got a link??? Looks cool.

so I get a "wobble of death" in Acro when it's windy/gusty - it's worse if i turn on any other sensor - it seems to occur around the roll axis. Which P should I lower: ROLL or LEVEL?
