I've used the 1.9 to adjust my quad and it works very ok.

I have put together two tricopters now whitch I would like to try the same FC on
Have read a lots of threads but still not found anything.
My brain must have missed somthing essential

Would be most greatful for some help in this issue.

Best regards
Just go to the config.h tab in the arduino editor. Look for the define statements that say quadx vs. quad+ vs. a tricopter and comment out the quad defines and uncomment the one for tri.

Then upload to FC board.

Have you tried powering through the VIN pins?

VIN is power in. I was told by the Quadrino designer that you can power right from the batt as long as its not bigger than 3 cell. I use a dedicated BEC, just because I have blown the diode and reg and am gun shy. If your diode only is bad, then VIN will still work, but if your reg is blown then it will not.
