I just found out my servo order may not be in until Monday afternoon. If so I'll try and be ready to install everything on Tuesday but if I feel rushed at all I will put it off until Sunday or the following Wedensday...

They are all copies of earlier versions of something really...

As a kid..man I dream of flying one as an adult! Rick..aka my dad, trained on one in the air force. He has got some great stories, now he flies a boring 737 for southwest! BTW, elctra is coming along nicely. Where do you order your servos from if you don't mind me asking?

My LHS, I wanted all HV and since they only had some in stock I decided to just pick them all up at the same time. My dad was Air Force too before going to work for General Dynamics, now Lockheed on the F-16 project, he flew the F-111, something I'd love to make into a twin EDF some day (expensive project!)...

ive been schemin of doing a scratch built 100" long T-38 with twin high power 12s 90mm's....235mph eflux, 21-22 lbs of combined thrust.....would be a mix of depron, foam, balsa, ply and glass.....projected weight of 15-17 lbs.....hmm...

You would have loved Pablos SR-71 @ E-jets last year, unfortunately he crashed it limping back after a dead battery (don't ask!) but that SOB moved out! I never got video (thinking there would be time!) but he'd make a run across the runway at 5 feet (at full throttle), wow that really got your attention...

Day #5

I was pretty much useless this weekend, at one point I put in Pink Floyd's "Pulse" DVD and stared blindly for 2 hours. I did manage to get the inlets wrapped with carbon tow and installed (and glued) as well as complete the nose gear doors and get the air cylinder and air switch mounted. Since I was in glue mode I also injected the stabs with a little extra vPoxy after being glued in-place on the fuse as well as glue the vertical fin in-place. I'm really just picking little things to do until the servo are here, I figure less than 16 hours to go, perhaps be done this Wednesday if the planets align...
