I was just messing around...its not a real BVM Electra...its a scratcbuilt 1/3rd scale Electra painted to match the Striker ARF scheme that Jack has. Can't wait to get some photos of both the planes.

That model is too cool. Any thoughts on offering plans and some parts? Perhaps a short kit of the model?

Strictlyscale,

Thank you for the compliment! I am in the process of designing the lasercut files for the wing and tails. At that point I might be able to produce a few short kits. Its a small model but it takes more time to produce the glass parts than you'd expect. For that reason I don't think many would be willing to pay for the labor cost.

I'll be installing the gear today, Patty sent me the correct gear over night after I found out I messed up and ordered Bandit gear, they are sooooo much smaller and lighter! I've also finished the inside wiring and air lines, at this point, finish gear, final fit, install fan and thrust tube and we're good to go! If everything goes well, the maiden flight may happen this weekend but there is a storm somewhere in the Atlantic and they are talking about it coming near us over the weekend, we'll see!

Agreed! I mean I know why BV does wire legs and he really has done a lot to get the weight down but I have to have solid legs for my planes to stand on and they need to snap up and down via air and roll on aluminum rims! This should look bad a$$ sitting on the runway with the solid struts and aluminum wheels...

Well, I may be giving Patty a call sometime soon. I remember a little while ago they had a nice special going on the Sabre's. It was like $1995.00 for the kit. I wonder If I can coerce..........

Either way, there is a 100% chance I will own one someday soon. I really like the 10S EVF 2 setup. IMHO, the 10S setup is well worth $995.00. Nice and light with loads of power. This set up in a Sabre or Electra would be the nuts
