SeaMaster 120 by ACE R/C value

I bought a kit in the box from a fellow at the RC field and am realizing I may not have the space to build it. It appears to be all there and I have not had time to inventory all the parts and balsa yet. The guy I got it from stated his grandfather had passed away and had owned a number of kits which were left behind.
I am curious as to what the kit would be worth if sold as is.
attached are some pics taken. Note: the fiberglass hull and cowl are wrapped in newspaper from 1971.

TIA

The original price tag from 1971 reads $55.49. I am sure its worth a fair bit more nowdays, looks like some of the wood used then could be upgraded to lighter more durable stuff. Shows weight at 16 - 18 lbs finished weight. I am betting one could bring it in around 13 -14 lbs.
Still no one has any idea of what this kit might be worth?

I've got the 40 sized with a 55AX and second that is electric. They're awesome flyers and I ask that if you're planning on selling it, please let me know! If not, I would love a copy of the plans.

But to answer your question, I saw one sell for $275...

Ace R/C's Tom Runge passed away years ago, the company was eventually sold to Thunder Tiger who had a warehouse in California. They dropped all the kits, produced only the electronics, but not in kit form as was done originally.
The latest move is that Great Planes (Tower) is now the importer/distributor of the full TT line, which includes a lot of ARF's, cars, engines and Ace electronics.

I have an Ace Bingo kit NIB -might consider offers.

Wow, I didn't know that those dated back to '71.
So Super Tigre 3000's were around then too?

I couldn't tell you anything about this kit or the year it was sold, manufactured or even designed. I made a error by assuming it was from the early 70's by the dates on the papers used to wrap the fiberglass parts. I did stay at a holiday inn express once but it seems that is not acceptable either
Thanks for the info on that and could you tell me when the kit came out and what year it's from?

As far as gas motors I have no clue, I started the hobby in 2006 with an electric heli and migrated into planes. Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but this was kind of the whole reason for the market value for the kit. Thanks for the gentle ribbing tho....it could have been much worse.

Ace at one time had a great line of kits from trainers to mid wing aerobats
the Seamaster is great flying boat and not a bad sport plane on the whole
so yes its worth a bit to some to get one still

Offer

I never did see any replies containing an offer. I'll pay $100 plus $25 towards shipping.
