Question
Freewing SU 34

http://www.hobby-lobby.com/su34_blue...ueryId=1394967

When will it become available?

I was watching for days... at one point it said "Due early May"

next thing I know ... it said "out of stock" (I check from night and checked again the next day)

if so, when is the next estimated time of arrival?

I sent email to HL (about 2 days ago) NO REPLY .... (the reply might come but considered slow in response by now... or I might not get any)

Im now thinking of getting it from other sources ( across the pond and just pay shipping)

Im not ranting... just a simple question that needs a simple answer.
Maybe the website can provide better info on availability rather than leave the customer hanging.

Thanks for the info

LW

it usually means there was some delay in the shipment from china
so they just pull the date and wait

LW,

Sorry about the delay on the SU34's. They were actually scheduled to arrive yesterday, but due to the tornado's and flooding that has occurred they were delayed till next week. Once again I do apologize but this one was out of our hands.

Thank you for the reply.

I will wait for it.

If I pay early, does that mean I will be in-line (in a list) ?? Just wondering what my options are.

Thanks

LW,

If you go ahead and back order it you will have one reserved when they arrive. That way you are guaranteed to get one. Thanks for being patient and I hope you enjoy the SU34, it is one of my favorite HL jets off all time!

Thanks,
Bobby

Hey guys,
Well, the container that is delayed does not have the SU-34's on there. They were supposed to ship out from the factory, but didn't make it. We're doing our best to get them here quickly, but I'm afraid that puts them at least another month out. Wish those container ships could move faster on the ocean. Really sorry about the that. Despite our best efforts, some things are just out of our control.

Well I have always wanted one of these.
I think they are one of the prettiest jets on the market.
And they seem to fly great.

BUT

I was at an RC show this weekend and a guy had one there.

1. It looked like HECK. It was damaged all over the place. He said the EPS foam was so soft that it damaged very easily. I mean whats the point of getting a pretty jet if it quickly gets ugly? And please dont give me that "if you fly right you shouldn't damage it" things happen to even careful pilots. Especially in gusty texas Any chance this will be made in EPO?

2. I know when this came out (2009?)the price was reasonable. But prices have been going down for quite a while now. $299 now for a dual 64mm seems kinda high price in todays market? Especially since the initial engineering costs have been paid off now. I AM willing to pay more for quality and good service. But isnt it about time for a price adjustment?

No plans for EPO at this time. On the pricing part, labor costs and materials costs have actually gone up over the years in China and continue to do so. I expect to see price increases for items this year from all vendors.

Thanks for the reply Jason - you guys DO give good service

Love my Euro, but patching it up from runway gusts is tedious. Hope your new plane models are epo...

I agree. Most everything is EPO going forward.
