Welcome loony....

That motor kv is way to high buddy. That boat will run perfect on 4S and motor around the 2000kv.

The 4S setup you can run a 4mm flex drive system. Although 3/16 is much much better. You won't get close to 100km/hr with that motor you have selected.

Swordfish 200A ESC from OSE.

Where are you by the way? recommendations on where to buy can help you.

Whats your price limits you want to spend and whats your expectations, racing, general use ??

I have one find a better boat as there is not much room inside my one sits on the shelve now collecting dust and that motor is way to high KV for a boat you need around 2000kv on 4S lets say.

aaahhhhh my old stomping ground many years ago.

I don't know how your going to use that motor. 2S will be your only option and you are only going to crack 30,400 rpm unloaded. So that's around 26,000 loaded.

LBP3674 1900kv will pull around 80A
3674 1900kv

4074 2000kv 4074 2000kv is the pic in leopard but it will pull 120A so that will kill ya esc

I would look for a a rudder strut set with the 3/16 flex included. RCBoat bits doesn't have anything quite like it. They sell all the bits individual.

ok the esc im using now the 120a swordfish, should be ok for 100km/h mark im looking for right only with the right set up of course. or did i bye the wrong 1 ?

And still that flex cable set up .is a must to start of for now ,even if i have to set the throttle low on my flysky no problem that will only make me get that leopard sooner.
Damn i payed $100 for that orion motor the other week.

but i do understand what your getting @ .
the baterires i just got are the (2200mAh 3s 11.1v Lipo Battery XT60 Deans T Plug EC3)
@ the moment i have been using the good old 7.2v nicad's.

You will be struggling with that esc for 100km/hr. Any motor big enough and powerful enough will be pushing too close for comfort to the 120A mark. There is a massive difference between 70 to 80km/hr and a build that will hit the 100km/hr mark.

There are perfect you cut them down to size. But its everything you need
Rudder strut flex combo

Ditch the deans straight away and fit some 5.5mm bullets. And so if you have bought some 3S batteries then you need a different motor all together. Something around the 2700kv will punch nicely. But your won't hit the 100km/hr.

PS try a refund or swap from who ever you bought the motor from. Say to em I purchased in error

Hold on a second... 3s2200mah packs will not suffice for a boat this size unless you plan to run four of them in a 6s2p setup. You need to have at least 4000mah, preferably 5000mah plus.

Those 2200mah packs are probably only good for about 50-60a (assuming 30C) alone, and won't last long at all under that kind of load.

To have a reliable and safe setup, you want 4s5000mah (30c) total and around 2000kv motor. That'll give you a motor that will give power under 120a, and batteries that will happily supply 120a constant so no parts are worked too hard.

my son runs 2 x 2200mah in parallel in his Prince he gets about 4 to 5 minutes. In this hull you will get about 2 to 3 min if ya lucky.

3S 5000mah 40C is best. in parallel gives you 10000mah and about 6 to 7 minutes maybe a little longer, depends how you run it
