Do you see an advantage in the nano's? I may have to get a pair of 2s and compare them with my turnigy's with a GPS.

The 45c on these batts is what i like, should have alot of punch.

I think the difference (if any) in the nano-tech packs will be longevity.

These packs here would pack a huge punch! 225 continuous amps will get a boat moving!

People seem to have success with these zippy/turnigy lipo's. I've noticed that most people using this forum run them without any issues. (not counting when scorp decided to hook his batteries together with reversed polarity LOL). I have always been warned to stay away from them though... I may have to give them a try, Spending $200+ per battery is getting old pretty quick!

I can't believe you would be silly enough to spend $200 on ONE battery when you can get 4 for that price!!

As soon as HK had Zippy's I was using the 5S 5000's in my cars. I ended up killing them as they were only 20C & my cars were sucking the daylights out of them.

Now I buy the 6S 4000 40C for my Genesis & cars. I also bought the 2200 2S 40C packs for my Tear Into jet boat.

Pity I still don't have the ESC & cooling jacket that is holding up my order due to back order.

Nice find Scorp.
I've just bought two of the 4s versions thanks to you.
My 4s Turnigy 45C packs are getting a bit warm & soft after each run & I'm only taking about 50%-60% out of them during a race. They are old & slightly abused packs. I'll still use them in the restricted classes where the current draw is a lot less.
I've got one of the Nanotech 45-90C packs with a few runs on the Whiplash 33" hydro, & it does have a bit more kick than the old Turnigy packs.
We'll see how those Zippies feel in comparison to it.
Cheers.
Paul.

If you're running a high power setup you'll notice a BIG difference in power throughout a race between the turnigy packs and something higher end like Hyperion.

For sport running it doesn't matter, but if you're racing you'll want to spend the extra $$$.
