New Aircraft Carrier Phoenix RC Flying Site !

Here's a brand new flying site for the phoenix RC community !

It's the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier currently located at Alameda California
Contains 2 Identical Flying sites, one normal the other with aircraft landing training markers and guidelines.
Do turn on the flying site's weather .. it makes it a more realistic carrier landing condition to RC scale.

I actually sent this site to phoenix sceneries, however they have yet to respond.
If they do and they host it on phoenix-sim.com, I will remove the link above.

Hey jimbolina1, if you happen to be here, that's the aircraft carrier i mentioned to you about.

yea, i zipped it using 7zip in Zip, LMZA compression format.
Forgot that the standard windows Zip doesn't support that. (:

Yes will work in v2.5 too.

For XP you have to place the file in My documents. You should already have a PhoenixRC folder there.
If you rather have the fields in the same folder as the main PhoenixRC installation, use c:\Program Files\PhoenixRC\resources\environments\

Cheers!

Hey guys I want to test out the multiplayer function of this new flying site.
I just got onto Phoenix RC and most of them have not even heard of this site.

I just want to find out that all 8 launch points work properly.

I'll second that- running windows 7 64 bit- unzipped files to flying sites- - but not showing in phoenix- in realflight- you normally have to import into the program- but there doesn't seem to be an 'import' option in phoenix- anyone got this working? thanks for your reply

figured it out- was using WinRar to extract- it seemed to extract Ok- but was missing some of the essential files- just installed 7zip (free open source software)- and this time all files were extracted- thank very much Ezekiel Freshmen!

anyone know where i can find other unofficial scenery and airplanes?
