Wow! That is a really cool hexacopter! Did you make the frame yourself?

And also warthox for your nice review.

Can you (or another) make an onboard video with this FH-X46 like your "mwc mini quad onboard"
please
you mean something like this?

FH-X46 - fpv no1 (2 min 20 sec)

FH-X46 - fpv no2 (2 min 21 sec)

Yes warthox thanks

With these great videos I think some guys will to go with this setup.
Or an other from you... because all of your builds seems very good

Perhaps me... but I'm not sure to if a "Gaui 330 beginner" like me
can build and adjust all parameters like a pro like you.

There's only 2 things you can change with this board. 1 is a switch to select either x4 or x6 and the other is a gain potentiometer. All you have to do is increase the gain until the copter wobbles a bit, then reduce the gain until the wobbling stops. That's it! It really doesn't get any easier than that and there's no messing around trying to adjust PID settings.

I just made a little test video with my hexa. The wind died down and I managed to get it tuned a bit better, but still not 100% happy with it. It was getting dark, and the gopro doesn't have the best light handling in low light, but you can get an idea of how smooth (or not) my hexa flies.

This board definitely rules based on the videos. I just need to figure out why its not working for me @warthox, did you get it for "free" is that why you have to plaster the fake fauxtech name all over it? Why not call it AQ50D like it is?

I'm still not happy with the flying characteristics of this board with my hexa. Yes, it's quite stable, but it suffers from toilet bowl effect and is impossible to do a static yaw. Unlike with my kk board of multiwii board, when I just apply yaw, the copter tilts and rolls at the same time and I always feel like I'm not really in control and have to fight to get it back to level after spinning 360.

Well, mine doesn't even fly at all, and it's been raining so I didn't have much time to dick with it. I try flying it about a week ago for a few seconds, it was really slow responding to stick input (I mean like, I'd have to push stick almost fully left/right to make it have any effect on the direction), then I flew it out a few meters and it started yawing like crazy and I just hit throttle down at that point. Waiting for weather to stop sucking.

Yes, but there's no way of checking what is on the board, because it's not open source. You just have to trust that you have received what you ordered.

If it was possible to download different software for this board it would really move it into a different league.
