Check it out banana hobby has just leaked a few pics of there new F4U Corsair.. Its supposed to have a 1600 mm wingspan fully functional flaps, and screw retracts. And its available in RTF. It looks pretty awesome to me!! I will keep you updated on any new's!! So stay tuned!!

Interesting , this is the exact same one of the Easytiger models , so now two US distribuors will have this plane ?? I bet easytiger has better prices then BH

There are alot of Banana Hobby planes I want, but I cant bring myself to order from a company that hosed so many people

what other distributors carry this plane?

Looks great. Need a three blade prop though. Maybe include a three blade hub so people have a choice, making everybody happy. I'd have to skip the nurf rockets.

Part of this hobby includes risk IMO unless you are buying all e-flite PZ stuff and even then you can have malfunctions. I've ordered from BH before with no problems but I know more than likely they will not stand behind their product. I have a FMS mustang from nitro that practically needed to be rebuilt but I kind of expected that going in. I think if you treat BH like that then you will not be disappointed.

There has been quite a bit of bad press about EASY TIGER too - including a spate of sock puppets and a lifetime ban for that guy. Not picking a fight... just saying that I have ordered from BH and have been happy with the results. I will not order from ET - for any reason.

Back to the plane - I like the looks quite a bit. Only need more time, more money, more space, etc. For now, keep us posted

I have a few questions on the plane .
1)do the wings retract with a servo or simply manual ?
2)Is it me or do the gear leg doors look too long when extended , yet they look perfact in the wing when retracted ?
3)Are flaps standard , if so they appear very nice .
as far as distribitors I do agree that the bad press on BH and ET are equally the same but I have to say that Kurtis does respond to emails and does attempt to adress problems from what I have seen on the sites .
Personally I like the BH website but if BH knows they are the only game intown on a model , they really make a killing , just look at the same planes once Hobby King gets them in stock , typically 50% less then BH dead net price .
In addition , If you watch the BH videos , be prepared , I did a check and you get 3 to 3.5 miniutes of Pete talking in every video , sorry but that is way to long for anyone to have to listen to a sales pitch .

Is this an earlier paint scheme? When did they go to the 4 blader on the F4U? I do not know much about the Corsair variants but this plane is beautiful in pictures and every corsair I've flown has been an excellent flier. The folding wings would make transport easier but I would be concerned about wing strength.
