The PHOTOFIELDS MEXICO PROJECT contains several sceneries from Mexico with mixed results. Primavera Picnic is another contender for best summer scenery for Phoenix RC. It could have been great, now it's only fairly good thanks to the presence of one Mr. Elmer H. Our dear friend takes up far too much space when you come in from north, blocking your view on the screen. If you add figures to the scenery, please don't make them too big. Move them away from the viewing point, not closer. This is an example how to NOT do it.

thumbnail shots? If you don't need the automatic time delayed feature you can take screenshots from Phoenix as well.

Over to Poland. There are some good places around. First one out: Kamionki III HDR. It's from farmland Poland with some exceptional light in, a subtle haze I haven't seen before in other sceneries. The field is a rough one, it could pass as lowland Scandinavia, if you changed the style of the buildings in the background.

POLAND: Looks like a private garden/meadow/whatever in glorious summer weather.

POLAND: If you prefer rough fields to the perfectly cultivated German ones, then the Polish sceneries are for you. Here's an open field in the middle of a forest, it's almost overcast, shadows are soft, grass very long, trees are all around you. (About 2000 magnificent oaks, according to the Polish designer). The Henseleit TDR is perfect fun out here along with the PA Addiction 3D stunt plane. Use the transparent designs by Puzom for the PA Addiction, they look great on the screen. They're my favorite butterflies.

POLAND: Another field with beautiful light. It's the end of the day, the sun is sinking below the horizon, you're flying by a small country road near a tiny pond. Lovely piece of work this one!

What? Koninko is #3 from bottom in the top menu after you click on Archiwum. Several of his sceneries are available in two versions, HQ and normal.

Reposted link, St.Peter-Ording-Strand: It's probably the most howlingly unsexy landscape of the Phoenix lot, but so useful when you train on small details with helicopters, like piro flips and inverted hovering close to the ground. Now I love sand! Sand provides better contrast and sharper shadows than grass. I think the German designer has adjusted the softness of the ground to somewhere between grass and asphalt. We are not surprised by that... If it's boring, then it is brilliantly boring.

POLAND: This is a famous race track for cars, motorcycles, go-carts, Tor Poznań, host to a popular Gran Turismo competition. You're flying on the grass field inside it, it's overcast with muted sunshine coming through.

(NB: This one is a "dark horse", it turns up untitled in the menu, somewhere between Telki and UMFC Gras).

There must be some good Russian and Japanese fields around somewhere. Please supply a link if you find any. We're always looking for the next good one here...

One of Seaky's stranger projects, Bargteheide Bridge. Smaller aircraft will load on the bridge, bigger ones start up on the road below it. It's possible to fly under the bridge, if your mind is quick enough and 3D, it's very difficult to imagine your whereabouts below the bridge.

Bargteheide Bridge: http://modellismoticino.jimdo.com/si...oenix/scenari/ (#11 on the list)

Seaky stitched this perfect little nightmare together, it's South Africa, far away from any population, dry and hot as hell. A very unpleasant place to be, you get this eerie feeling, something's gone terribly wrong. Maybe it's the deserted road, but you feel robbed and dumped here, without drinking water, your mobile phone is working, thankfully, but the nearest base station is out of reach. There's nothing but sand and lizards crawling around your feet. Otherwise it was a perfect trip. Greetings from South Africa.
