Danny made this lovely waterscape, a beautiful Japanese lake with a sandy beach. Bring your swimming suit. You want to go for a swim here, and not fly. Or meditate. It's almost Zen. (Is it possible to increase drag when you land on sand here? You're slipping along it as if on water. Otherwise, fantastic scenery! Please make more for water Danny).

Scraggy's back with an American airstrip, Canyon Crosswinds Field in Valencia, CA, USA. Thick meaty fresh black asphalt on a faded grey concrete base, it looks great and feels good. We're far into the American wilderness here. Wild West territory!

If you're new here and don't know where to start, download these three new flying sites, they're all very special and totally different from one another: post #71:Kanayama, post #72:Skala MFK, post #76:Canyon Westwinds. Freeware is sometimes more exciting than Phoenix' own offerings. Thumbs up for all freeware designers. Without them many would have lost interest.

Yeah a pano of this nature would be amazing.

Danny: Great! You fixed the small bug in the landscape of Skala MFK. Now it's possible to fly around and not be bothered with strange impacts. Skala MFK is quite something. You must tell them about your work, the members will love it. It's a well run little RC-club.
I still can't believe it exists. Skala looks like a product made in Photoshop. The northern landscape is special here.

they know, actually it is Truls that have taken the photos for me a little jealous of their nice field. The background, and the slope, you can do piro flips eye level without being dangerously close to mother earth

I wish I had the time to do sceneries. All I have been able to do is some heli and plane designs.

Scraggy: Where's the Westwinds scenery from? Phoenix, Arizona? I'm trying to find it with Google Earth. You really got the ground textures right in it. It's Csaba quality over them! Excellent.

Could you increase the ambient/sun light a bit? I think the model is too dark.

Something like:

Diffuse 249 255 206 255
Ambient 122 122 122 255
Specular 235 233 233 255

Also please check the starting points, e.g. the Icon A5 does not take-off.
The noGear version does not come out of the water, and the Gear versions back is sunk into the ground.
Also are there watercraft starting points? None of the models start in the water.
