I see the problems with this one, Csaba. Nyiregyháza, a 900 meters long and 18 meters wide solid runway in the middle of a farm field. You feel lost here, among the sheep, stuck between the farmland and the asphalt. You're not really a part of either place. If you placed the camera on the long and wide runway it would take up all the space from your point of view. It's a very difficult job to turn this one into a good and interesting 3D environment. You just feel out of it here. This one's for hungry sheep and not men with strange hobbies.

I was invited to go there and correct the scenery.

BUT what you are saying is not true, although you might have this feeling.
This is the end of the runway at a Public Airport.
In front you can see my car. The model flying site is there.
I was not allowed to go into the direction of the centre of the runway, where the hangars are.
By the way at the grass covered Public Air Fields like Farkashegy, Budaörs, Nyíregyháza, Gödöllő the cheapest method to cut the grass is, to let the sheeps in.

True, it's more than a farming field. It was difficult to see it from the low viewing point. It's a busy little airport with varied traffic and many strange aircraft in the hangar. It's popular with aerobatics pilots in Hungary. It's not for sheep after all.

This one has been posted before, but now with a fresh link to an earlier version found on a French RC homepage. An updated, improved version is available from PHOTOFIELDS MEXICO PROJECT: http://www.panographos.com/site/phot...Huichapan.html
(US$ 3.00 per scenery).

Where is Binnenhorst Lake? It has sunk in the sea, along with Seaky's wonderful sceneries. Samu must have returned and digested them all. Go home Samu. Silly creep.

Some RC clubs make their own virtual fields to show them off to others. KFC Thon, Austria, is the best of them. This one is very detailed with an impressive long majestic hedge of sunflowers, which is modelled beautifully with a strong 3D feel. The "wife factor" is high with this scenery. Women love this one. Men too!

- Below is a great video from the site where a RC tug plane pulls an elegant glider up in the air and lets go of it. Fantastic video with a tiny camera placed on the glider:

The other good custom-made RC field is Austrian as well, UMFC-Gnas Dietersdorf. It's a small private field, very popular, judging from the You Tube videos it seems. The models are a shade too dark here, they should have added Puzom's magic numbers (#90) and brightened them up. Default setting is too low. Otherwise it's a very nice one.

- also, white turns oddly yellowish, strange bug!

Another good video from KFC Thon, by the same guys. 6 meter wingspan must be enough for most people. At least you can see it well from the ground. It must be fun to tow them up too.

The FAI World Aerobatic Championships competiton is held there at Nyíregyháza Airport this year, at this very moment, 26 July 2012 - 5 August 2012. 81 pilots sound like much noise. It's big enough the little airport. If you've got your own ICAO code it must be well equipped and with some serious civilian traffic.

Jurij Kamanov - G.Kovacs - Hungarian Aerobatic Pilot - AWAC 2012 (2 min 8 sec)

OK Danny, I'll keep pushing Viklanda until you replace it with a brand new Viklanda. It's such a stunning place, real rock'n'roll. Now with your perfectly strange fisheye lens it's possible to create your own panorama shots and not be reliant on other people to supply you with good photographs.
This version of Viklanda is flawed, but brilliantly flawed. I love the long stretches of uncut, uneven grass, with a nice little Swedish country house (it's the club house, it seems), some working benches and lots of tall brilliant Scandinavian trees.
The dropping point is set too high for many of the aircraft included in the simulator, they smash to the ground before you get started, but it's possible to handlaunch fixed wing aircraft, at least the prop driven ones. It works with the Henseleit TDR helicopter, which is a super model to fly in here. It's fast and needs the vast space offered at Viklanda. Next to Csaba's Börgönd runway scenery this one is my favorite spot. Enjoy it with the aircraft you can manage to load.

What's the appeal of playing this one online? It's not World of Warcraft. There was one guy complaining about being rammed from behind all the time by dirty old men flying Captain Baron von Ritchofen's cute red old Fokker. It's a dating game for nasty old men looking for companionship of younger "butterflies"...
