I just realized that I am on a completely different page. I was going towards a futuristic blended wing. I'll proceed with mine.

My only suggestion would be a mid wing, I'm not sure how easy it would be to engineer the spar. Claus might be able to help us, his Draaken build is mid wing.

the only thing I'm not totally sure about is the vertical fin shape. I like it as I've drawn it, but at the same time, I'm not sure. LOL. maybe someone has a better idea there.

I think a mid wing is doable and it wouldn't be that hard to engineer a spar system, no matter where it's placed. if it's mid wing, some sort of tab system on formers for plug in wings. if it's low wing, you could have a one piece wing that's completely removable for transport. low wing is easiest, but a mid wing wouldn't be that difficult with some thought put in.

The mid wing will make it look less like a Mirage and work well with the ogive wing.

As for the vertical stab, I like it but I'd also like to see what it would look like with a similar shape to the wing, in particular the trailing edge.

I just remembered one crucial factor that will determine edf size and potential equipment. How big? My model so far has a 40" span and an 80" length and will accomodate two edf 64-70.

The size should be scale-able if possible. I actually have a WM300 fan with motor that I have planned for this project...

It should be, but a general-edf-size to wingspan should be established.

I think we were talking 90mm several pages ago, but if PDF files are made, you'll be able to build it in any size you like, from 50mm right on up to 127mm. that's the beauty of this. if you use Claus and Frank's method of building with foam and FG, it's just a matter of cutting larger pieces of foam and glassing them.

I just like to base everything off of one aspect so that nothing is left to chance. Then the scaling begins. I'm going to look around to see some other larger edf models.

Yes!

I like the name "Wraith" as well. I have a logo in mind as well with a wraith-ified Terry the Transmitter, I'll work something out in GIMP this weekend.
