Wonder if hk will come with just the frame.
frame only version with only the horns and so on...
yes, that would be wise to do and they may also make it fully white for me, so that I can add my own paint

here is my 2cent about alternative motor, servos.
(Note that clevis need also replacement. With this little screw...not very save and good)

there is a forum if you login to your HC account
there I did ask the question, if they maybe would release a frame set

for me it would be no problem if it would be without painting and stickers as well
only the frame and hardware without ESC/servos/motor

As nice as the frame on this plane looks. the quality seems to be lacking, I decided to go with a PZ extra 300.

Price is Euro 89-- (included shipment)...
Still a fair price, even if you do not use the ESC, motor and servos.
Frame is of high quality and as good as any Multiplex EPO planes.

But for sure it would be commercial...if they release a frame set.
I could not fly it yet...but are pretty sure that it flies great and for sure with a good setup!

Well I'm going to first build and fly the plane 100% stock! then make changes as I go. I want to give HK 100% first chance to see whats up so I can do a honest review then after that i will upgrade to better as required

I'm a big Fan of the Dualsky brand Motors and ESC's so I might even upgrade the Servo to to Hitec just have to wait and see.

First thing I will need to do is change the battery plug on the ESC to fit the new HK packs

Very nice Tatonka If I lived in the US this is what i would get instead also, and give the HK one a wide birth as 3DHS Planes are simply the best imo

Indeed a very nice one
It is maybe also lighter then the Extra-260, which is for the 3D guys important.

keep in mind that an EPO plane is different
they are strong and there is no hassle with wings that bend because of the sun or rimples of the covering...bending wood

EPO and balsa planes are two different things!
both with advantages and disadvantages

These EPO planes are fun planes in my hangar. Most flights I made are with an EPO plane called Funjet. Therefore I was so excited about this one

Rob

Ps. my beloved SU-26m (Eflite, with same size as the Extra-260)

I too have been looking into a Buck Huck for my next model. Might just be a while. I have the PZ Extra 300. I am very happy with it but it is a sport plane not a 3D plane. I have been told that you can do mild 3D with it but as I am just learning how to fly 3D I do not want to risk it on a plane that is not designed for it. Buck Huck you are on the top of my short list.
