I still have one in a box somewhere, but my "around the house" heli is an LAHeli Ricco (collective pitch - and flybarless - but almost as light as a FP!).

As you can see from my posts here I still dabble with planes too. Just got the email that my order is packed and being sent to shipping.

Hi

I use glow tube to secure the clevis.
See picture of a nice spot for the ESC.

The 2200 25C Nano 3s fits perfect and balance is good.
If I am not wrong it is 90mm - 92mm (1/3 of root which is 275mm)

I could run the motor...and "plenty power".
Because it was in house...and already so much power...I like to do it outside.
Prop does has no info, but I guess it is 10x5 slowfly.

Not yet. I will post that tomorrow. If I am not wrong it is between 810-820gram with 2200 3s Nano 25C pack. If that is so... "not bad for an epo plane"!!

Cheers and maybe...tomorrow maiden

Good point. I'm not buying it to do 3D, I want it for regular aerobatics. I suppose if it really is 100+g lighter than the Parkzone Extra, it just might do 3D. Someone else will have to find out though, 3D is not for me (with planes anyway )

I had been looking at the HK BIG yak 54, but so many burned up motors on it, and every motor I wanted to buy was backorder, so I saw this was a new one, so I blew a $100 on, and I have plenty of RX's and 2200 batterys, to use with this plane.
will post what breaks first, if it is not pilot error.
Well I got it , rather quick from the usa warehouse, it IS a very good looking plane, and I dont know, but the foam seems harder than what I am used to, in easystar and stryker planes, just my opinion, once it hits the ground hard, bet it breaks just the same, HA.
Took some watt meter reading, 2200, 25c , used battery, fair charge on it,
27.49 Amps
268 watts
battery 12.18 V after run.
NO manual at all, anyone have a idea on the throws?
I was going to go with
25 percent of cord, to be safe on the CG

1/3 of cord is the balance point. Same as on my Eflite SU-26m (also 1meter plane)
So 90mm-92mm

25percent of chord...that is hard to achive, because you can not move backwards the pack, or you have to place it in a 45degrees angle or so....

epo quality is very good of this plane
this epo (or elapor how multiplex does call it) is brilliant stuff

by the way... maybe by gluing the tail piece, instead of the two bolts you can move the CG a bit forward also

trow

manual does not mention the trow. Maybe an idea to take the settings adviced for my SU-26m which has the same size and very simular wingshape.

Ailerons Low rate
Up 3/4-inch (19mm)
Down 3/4-inch (19mm

Ailerons High rate
Up 1 1/4-inch (32mm)
Down 1 1/4-inch (32mm)

Elevator Low rate
Up 1-inch (25mm)
Down 1-inch (25mm)

Elevator High rate
Up 2-inch (50mm)
Down 2-inch (50mm)

Rudder Low rate
Up 1 1/2 inch (38mm)
Down 1 1/2-inch (38mm)

Rudder High rate
Up 2-inch (50mm)
Down 2-inch (50mm)

Maybe this will work....

Either your numbers were typed wrong or your battery is VERY poor.

268w / 27.49a = 9.75v

Any pack that sags to less than 10v under load is bad news. If the pack is fully charged (and should be capable of the loads) I like to see them stay above 11v, at least for a while, and then slowly drop towards 10.5v.

I don't see this 28-30 motor lasting very long at all if it's pulling 27amps!
