refer to image "1965' from my photos. that's where the battery goes. directly behind the engine.

it has a nice little hatch to access this spot.

Couldn't resist...

Just hit the button for a red one. Even if the electronics are total crap, I think the airframe is worth $112.30 shipped.

Wow, the blue one does look much better than it's picts on HK's site, I would be happy with either.......Treediver, you could try warming the damaged area with a blow dryer, that makes the foam return to it's original shape somewhat, I've had good luck fixing minor damage that way, just don't get it too hot....Good luck with the maiden, I look forward to hearing how it flies,

@tatonka

we did try yesterday a bit of hot water...what we also heard
but that did not work
It is not a big deal....sticker above it...and all fine

yes...the blue one is way cool and the color at HC a joke.....
this evening I will finish this little gem....see how much amps it pulls from the pack and if we get the CG right. I would not suprice me if it does fly very well.
I am used to the SU-26m of Eflite, which is almost 1kg. This one is lighter and has a nice profile. Not too tick and airfoil also at the tail piece. Cool....

Has anyone ran the stock power system up on a watt meter yet? I bet it will be a decent aerobatic flyer but no where close to a "3D" machine...

The BLUE one does look way better than the Hobby King baby blue pic!

Now go fly them and report back!

Tempted to pull the trigger before they run out....

Agree, very tempting to pull the trigger before they run out. It's a tossup between this and the parkzone extra 300

That was my decision too... I really like them both, but decided to take a risk with this one. To be honest, if the Parkzone was available as a bare airframe I would have bought it, since I have most of the gear already laying around (hence why I'm not worried if the gear that comes with this one is junk).

Yeah, I wish PZ would release all their planes in an airframe only option (they do for the P-47) I'd buy the 300 if they did.

I'm sorry to sound like a broken record, but I still don't get how the battery is supposed to go in and be secured during flying.

Hey Pete! Long time no type. I'm sure I'll chat about it here and there, I might even have to join the ATTF guys for a show to talk about it (assuming it's worth talking about).
