Good Aviation Book Recommendation

I am almost finished with Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. WW2 bomber tale of survival. Great book, highly recommended. Anyone else have a suggestion on aviation/warbird reading?

Pretty good read

This guy's stuff was pretty good. I wish I would have had a paper map of Alaska handy during the read so I could follow along on the locations (read it on a Kindle).

One other one...

This doesn't fall under the category of an aviation novel/book, it's more of an almanac or as the title says, chronicle. It's fun to sit down for 15 minutes though and pick a year, and see all that happened in aviation news that year with news articles, etc. I picked my copy up at Half-Priced-Books for $10.

from the amazon review: ".....American aircraft manufacturers are portrayed as the dark forces of evil " Now that's compelling!
