I have been building and flying multicopters for about 6 months now, and I have learned from alot of you on here. Well I was talking to Flyhigh300, and he has started to make frames, his web site is myrcbuild.com. I am not trying to sell for him, I just want to do a build thread for the frame I got from him. and I will post the goods and bads of the frame and my build. I will post pics as I go. I got the frame today and will start on it later tonight. and post more then.

Cool looking frame Stu. will keep an eye on this thread.

Here are a few pics to start with. the last pic shows the board, ESC's and Motors I will be using. the frame is very sturdy.

does it exist with trex 450 tail boom?

at present the setup uses.. 1/2 x 1/2 square aluminum..

to use round booms would required that we make a full re-build.

either to use some Heli boom holder ( made from scratch) or use existing heli parts..

this would drive the cost up. I cannot mass produce them so .. at present.. the answer would be no...

It can all be custom done.. ie ( long booms) bigger motor mounts.. ect..

You can save $10 .. if you don't ask me to hollow out the booms

... I'm still perfecting the process ot machine aluminum.. keep in mind there are not mass produced.. so each one take a bit of time...

will try to put up more pics soon on my site.... I've added another plate on top for more electronics.. ( ie maybe .FPV gear.. ) ..

do you have an idea about shipping cost for europeen country?

the build on the frame is very straight forward. the only thing I don't like but some might and after talking with FlyHighwill be an option for bolts is the motor mounts are held on by rivits. they are good in the sence that in a crash it will shear the rivit and not break the motor mount.

I also use the same aluminium tube cnc slots, which weight is 30grams each arm, very strong and flies very stable.

I am kinda at a standstill at the moment, I am worrking on making a distrbution for the esc's and I am waiting on bullet connectors for the esc to motor connections. I also decided to try the frame with my quad powered board, and may switch it to my Wii board in the future. Here are some pics of what I have finnished so far.
