Just started flying my MXS on 4s2200's and I'm loving it!! Running the Scorpion 3020-890 on a 12X6. It does good pop tops with the extra power.

Just ordered one from exile as well. Has anyone used this motor, NTM 3542 1000kv? I have one, think it might be good for this for now.

Looks like it would work good on a 13x6.5 prop. I am using an Omega 130gm motor and I like it, but it could use a little more oomph. I started using a 14x7 but now am using a 13x6.5, I like them both but it seems a little smoother on the 13" but could use a little higher KV like this motor. Let us know how it goes if you get it.

It was only 27 bucks with the sale. I believe there is a lifetime warranty on dual sky from 2dog on the motor too. Motrolfly motor for this plane is 70 bucks.

Still no response from BVRC on the dead AXI motor. I guess I will give Exile a try next time, since they have SkyWing, are in the US, and reply to emails.

Hi StickHack,

Sorry for overlooking your email.

You are talking about the combo you order on August 16?

We didn't mean to recommend a 4-cell set-up. I think even with a 3S lipo
pack, the motor can be on the verge of being overloaded. But I've checked
BestValueRC web site, the specifications posted there indeed mentioned the
motor could run with 3-4S lipo packs. Thanks to your experience, I've now updated the web site.

I'll send you a replacement motor. Still using the same ship-to address as in your order?

Best regards,

feda
