Preordered!

Just preordered one from my favorite LHS.

Mike, Q, Horizon - what other wonders are brewing at the UM 'Skunkworks'? Here's to hoping that one of them will be a brushless UM twin!

Seriously, you saw how fast this thing can go? If somebody can read the sticker, you're simply not going fast enough!
RG,

I'm thinking that some UM pylon racing will be in order.

Nice plane! I like the SFG's as "wing protecters!" Hopefully they'll be cheap replacement parts as needed...

RE,

At 3:33, notice how quickly it accelerates when he nails the throttle, and notice the motor's abrupt pitch-change. We're talkin' serious hot-rod, here...

Oh I know it's awesome

My modded Nine Eagles xtra 300 is like that and I can use a 8/4 prop on it with 20" WS lol

Great looking all around, the lines are just too beautiful to resist. Just one big question for Horizon,

Please tell me that the new RX/ESC has something closer to 4A capacity, that would make it a very useful heart for many planes. The Beast's ESC is just a tad wimpy for 2 cell setups any bigger than stock.

Looking forward to the spec sheet on it.

I'll anticipate your response: 180 for aerobatics, 240 for tamer/longer flying
all e,

No doubt about it, both sizes will be killer in this bird.

Sbach: A mono plane Beast on steroids!
Sure hope so.

I managed to put in a bunch of stick-time on Beast #2 before the wx turned sour again. Was an absolute blast! I also made up a few more Hyp 180 & 240 2s packs.

I can hardly wait for the SBach! I already called my LHS to get on the list...

The way this UM thing is going, I'll end up building a mini airfield in my yard.

Joel

Joel,

Without a doubt, big KICS!!

The Sbach so has my name on it.
I'll max out all the throws and do my best to rip the wings off.
Same story with my Beast.

I'm up for the mini Sbach air race!
No restrictions on props and batts.

Rem,

Such a wonderful thought!

Just 4~5A, that's all we ask.
