Mike,

Any particular reason why you went with the 2 seaters (342) over the 1 seater (300)? Just curious?

P.S.: If you come to Canada, you have to give me a ride in the 342!!!

It looks amazing - I'm sold before even a promo video comes out. You should really be proud of this one Mike, I predict it will be VERY popular.

Yes, the 2 seater has a longer canopy so more side area. Better for knife edge.

Also, IMHO, the 2 seater 342 has more flowing and prettier lines than the single place 300.

Hmmm...

OK I altered the OP to remove the reference to the 3D capability, wonder why Model Flight has it in their description

Jim G has pictures here and others are posting in several threads. Jim has pictures of the Sbach in his Thursday pictures.

It's probably just a decal, so you can carefully remove it.... failing that, black paint?

I really like this, but I have the beast... perhaps I will wait to see what else is coming out of the UMX stable. A pylon racer would be awesome!

Good to know.... Totally agree about the prettier lines too. But now we have to stick a mini-pilot and a very scared mini-passenger in that cockpit!

One more question: Can you fly the real plane from the front seat (with or without someone on the back seat)

I would love this plane to practice my precision aerobatics (pattern) in small places. I got the Beast UMX for this and love it. I also fly the Beast in a HS gym with much issue, but I need to fly it outside to do the big maneuvers. I would not fly the Beast in a half gym.

I am going to keep my eye on this plane. It looks awesome.

Looks like it's the largest UM from HH to date, other than the Mosquito? 17" wingspan. I thought it looked bigger than I expected in the SEFF pics.

Depending on how much I like flying the beast, this may end up joining my hangar. I'm gonna need to upgrade from my DX6i if I keep buying anymore!
