jip it is an Sbach342 there was that green one and an orange and black one that day.I was looking at getting one of these till a guy at our field brought one in and flew it,I wasn't all that impressed with how it flew,but that might have been alot todo with setup aswell, he had what I thought wasn't a heavy nose over and the whole cowl split.so I never looked at it again though,but might consider it again.

Hi Guys,
I have only flown my Green MX2 a few times and am really enjoying it.......except....I am using a 4S 50C 3000mA batt and it goes flat in less than 5 mins during flight. I am not even flying on WOT or anything special, just doing normal circuits to get used to the plane. I checked current draw on WOT and it's drawing 62 Amps. Stock set-up. Is this normal? Maybe I'll just have to get a bigger capacity battery?

yup, normal for the 3D version. I get 6min max on my 3200mAh 4s. As you suggest, get a bigger batt!

(Question) How do you know what motor to use?

How I decided on that motor,I took the KV rating multiplied it by the number of Lipo cells, divided by milliamps then took the prop size cut one blade off,measured the diameter and got the square root of the length of the field I'm flying at,glued the blade back on and divided it by pie R squared,got that Number and took a dump on it then used a temperature probe on the feces and if it was over 98° I went with a lower KV motor....
