If you'd like to get the F16 version, please send an E-mail to confirm your order.
In this case it is much better to spend additional $80 and buy EagleTree (or others) with all "bell and whistles". Having GPS onboard without displaying coordinates - pointless solution.

This one has only one advantage - size and may be weight.

The unit is capable of showing lat and long.

I found my eagletree to be cumbersome. I like the simplicity of this design.

I hate the fact that you have to have both the OSD, and the data logger for it to work. If that's the case, why not just combine the two?

For a simple FPV plane, this looks perfect.

I have and use the full Eagletree OSD with additional sensors and i use too the 9$ OSD on small planes like a Mini Swift.
But i want a small OSD with GPS too, for such a plane, where the Eagle Tree OSD is too much and the 9$ OSD to less.

A few user selectable values for this little OSD would make it even nicer.
So, the user can change the OSD screen and maybe some other values.

I am interested in this as well.

A ET system is a more than an extra $80. OSDPro+eLogger+GPS is about $240 from RMRC. You're talking about well over double the price for a full ET package. I'm using one now on the EZ* and SW. It's fine on the SW, but it's a pain in the butt to work all those components into the cramped spaced of the EZ*.

Obviously, the Skylark will have less functionality than the full ET setup, but at less than half the price and much less than half the weight. You can even do away with the current sensor if you want which you certainly can't do with ET.

I think this thing is a great idea.

Okay, so that's pretty good (wish I had those discounts when I bought mine ), but it's still not an apples to apples comparison because of the Skylark's size and weight. The Skylark will fit where the ET just can't and that opens up a host of smaller, more portable airframes to put an OSD on.

I'll second this. As someone that thought he had to have every bell and whistle, I bought the full package ET system. I didn't use most of it. I wanted point of origin, the GPS features, speed, and altitude. For the type of flying I was doing, that's all I needed.
