You probably are confusing me with someone else. I own the Blade mSR. Actually two of them.

Also, the RTF Solo Pro may be less money than even the BNF mSR, but not quite 1/3.

I wonder how much Incredible RC charges for shipping though?

This seller on eBay is offering the 9104 for $89.99 shipped but I think that only applies to the continental United States.

Yes. Observations to be listed in the 9100 series thread, as my evaluation pretty much applies to both.
It's rugged, I'll give it that. I did snap a landing strut, but I had to crash pretty hard to do it. Superglue to the Rescue.

I think you're starting to enjoy the single rotors now Mr. killbucket... *insert evil laugh here*

The pull to the left on take-off hasn't convinced me that dropping the 4th channel on a single rotor is a good thing, nonetheless I'm glad you're having fun with it.

Check out the New Double Horse 9116 Mini-Version I just got!

This one's back in its crating, and off to Hayabusa Heli since an interest in the breed was stated in writing here.
And the knowledge base is sufficient to assure me that doing this won't end in tragedy.

I'm going to concentrate on the 9104, and add in a servo and swap the swash 180. I think I'll be able to add another pot to the radio Tx as well, and may experiment with just making it a setting rather than active stick control. Kind of having the mentioned adjustment link mod in real-time control. I would assume you'd still have wind issues, as soon as you wanted to turn. Going to a "Real Radio Mode" would be the only solution for that.

Got to admitt KB, it looks good on the vid. A little bit wild looking but not as bad as I thought. Could you see yourself improving in flight skill? (Or is the issue simply the bird).

Incrediblerc charge $18.99 for one DH9104, but if you add two in cart, the shipping is 24.99 and three or more will get a fixed rate at $29.99. It looks like you can add different product and get the shipping rate top at $29.99. I guess the more you purchase the lower shipping cost/item you will get.I also found a 10% off coupon code SECRETOFF

Ahhhh. Did you buy the DH9104 from Incredible RC yet? Looks like they just slashed the price to $59.99. I should have waited for this. Maybe I can buy one more for spare.

Looks like they reduced the shipping rate for quite a lot recently. I'll grab one with some parts.

I purchased 3 x 9100 and 1 x 9104 last night from them.
Any advantage of the 9104 over the 9100 other than its size?

Me buddies at ToptoyExpress have the DH9100 for a paltry 42 clams, whoa.

I've sent the DH9100 I bought off to Hayabusaheli, just because an interest was shown in it (and this member is experienced, and unlikely to be eaten alive by this CopterGeist), and I'll concentrate on the DH9104.

I kept the 9104 because I have servos that size already. The DH9100 would be considered "safer", but otherwise, both would be given plenty of tinkering/modding time here.

The larger 9104 will go onto a scale trailer to go behind my scale Rolls-Royce Roadster project. Really, I don't care if I ever do actually try to fly it again, because it is a killer shelf/desk toy in its own right. If I had a desk where people came to yak at me, the DH9104 would be in their way.

Why I hate these:
They ALWAYS drift left, even in a giant living room with the AC off and all windows shut. The tail rotor pushes the whole airframe to the side.
If you take these copters out of the box and just go to fly them, be sure to do it OUTside, on a DEAD day. Then pretend it's an airplane, and pilot accordingly, because it is NEVER going to settle into a hover for you.

Why I like these anyway, #1:
BOTH of these appear to be 4 channel copters with the servos, servo connectors, and the tx control pot for aileron, omitted. I think either could be modded into a full-fledged FP helicopter.

Why I like these anyway, #2
You just can't get a bare-bones single rotor FP this low priced...

Why I like these anyway, #3
Two 9100's SHOULD make a Syma S022 Big Chinook body into ????

Why I like these anyway, #4
I CRASHED, and CRASHED, the 9100 and the 9104, and both are still intact. China has learned how to make a solid, plastic rotor head finally.

Somebody please find us a pic of this board in an application where that lower three connections goes to another servo, instead of being filled in with solder?
