What are you using for ground station flight recording?
Tried 3 aipteks. Even different models exhibit the same issues. Signal drop or momentary low signal results in split screen or blue screen recording. Burnt out of these things. What are some good ground station flight recording devices?

HD recording of an analog SD signal is not possible.
The Aiptek people use that records through static is the MPVR+CB (known by various names). ian |

Thanks ian. Maybe 640 x 480. The hd aiptek and another sd aiptek all stopped recording or broke the picture when the signal changed.

Appreciate the link and have done plenty of searches before starting this thread. Currently own 3 aipteks and looking for alternatives.

Get a used DV-camera.
Gives very good quality. I got mine used for 90$. |

I read the through the thread that Daemon posted up and went with the PV500 EVO and haven't looked back.
