Sometimes you just run out of juice and have to lay of a project.
It happened with this Schooner and it happened with the Aero.
I just have at times to rest a built.
I never finished the cabins for The Child and when I lost the juice for the Aero, I found the juice for the cabins.
I did the Main Cabin. I will not put any realt hardware details on this cabin, leave it stark. The planking is Juniper. It is at the present a gayish purple. That will change into a brown wit a puple hue.
I used a knew wood, for the details. Scrub Oak root.
It is very teadies to get any material worth the money out of those roots.
But I think it is spectecular
Next will be the rear. Pilot Stand.
I got some very outlandish idea.

Well. I did do some hunting in the forest and found some nice pieces of Srub Oak root.
One of them turned out to be absolutely stunning inside. It took a few days to cut enough planks out of to do the job.
I thought Bird Eye was tough to cut, till I tried this stuff.
But it was worth the effort and the expieriance.
The dark wood is Bolivian Rosewood, iron wood.
It took 2 days for form the Windscreen Frame. After cooking it at moderate Temps in a presure cooker I used the over presure valve on the cooker for the final steaming process. Extremly hot and very focused.
