turnigy 9x v tail and elevon settings

Hi folks,
I am new to this site and thought it would be a good place to get some help. I have the turnigy 9x v2. As you have probably heard the manual sucks! It tells you what things are for but not how to use them. I have been trying to set up a delta with elevons and a v tail glider. both use 2 servos. I am at the point of pulling my hair out, but I don't have that much to begin with! I have the radio already set up for my boom 3d and it is working great. Have improved my flying greatly compared to using my older radios.
I would really appreciate any detailed info to set these aircraft up. I am assuming the radio is working ok. I have even considered adding a electronic mixer from turnigy to keep me from going insane.

PLEASE HELP, Larry

Did you reach V-tail program? Then enter value for each tail.
You must remember to press Menue key momentarily to memorize value entered. This is unique feature of 9X. If you fail this procedure, no value will be stored and program will not work.

Same for elevon.

Two aileron servos on left and right wing are connected to ch1 and ch6.
Then, activate flaperon program and enter proper value for each servo.
Value can be either positive or negative value depending on direction you desire.

Thanks for the fast reply How is this combined with v-tail programming? Does the servos still connect to channel 1 and 6? I have a Jet with two servos. One for each ailerom.

V-tail servos are connected to ch4 rudder and ch2 elevator.

Then, activate V-tail program and enter proper value for each servo. Direction of servo depends on postive or negative values. Be sure to press Menue button before exiting V-tail program window. If not,
values entered will not be memorized and program will not start. You need do it over.

V-tail functions both as rudder and elevator. Elevator function is already incorporated in V-tail program.

In V-tail mode, both tail pieces will move in same direction, up and down, when you move elevator stick.
When you move rudder stick, two tail pieces will move in opposite direction, left and right.

No, each tail plane has 1 servo connected to it. Move the elevator stick and they move together, move the rudder stick and they move in opposite directions.
