So, it should be saying "LAND" at the beginning.
So, I need to reverse the AUX channel?

Also. I am using 0.03 firmware. I see yours snapshot shows 0.04. Did I miss the update?

Looks almost good, check the one marked red and make sure the sticks move the values in the right direction

When with drone

Now, when I connect to the drone:
1. Have stick in the middle when power on? Or stick down when power on then move to center?

2. aux-center

3. When sequence is over. hit gear up and drone takes off?

All sticks center, AUX down (LAND)
Turn on TX, power up drone
Wait for drone to blink lights twice (begin and end of CONFIG)
Throttle left -> FTRIM... lights should blink
AUX center -> launch
AUX down -> land

Its alive!!

Well. its flying.
Made sure everything was doing what it is suppose to do. And it did.
Flew it a little in the house and worked out great.
Took it to the yard and something didn't look right. Somehow lost a little control on it. Or did it? I will test it again.

I need to learn how the aux and gear up switch works. Or remember how it works.

Then, maybe I will get a hang of it. I was thinking the gear up and down will launch the drone.

Thanks alot miru and lorenzo29 for helping out. I will report as soon as I am familiar with it. Then use other rxs and see how it works. Right now using a clone Spektrum rx. Costs about $13.00.

Actionplus, the new revision (0.03) uses either GEAR or AUX1 as the flightmode switch, NOT BOTH. You make that selection in 'sketch' (rx2atp.c). AUX1 is interpreted as a 3 position switch (you get the cool but harder to handle, 'no hover' behaviour AUX1 up), GEAR is interpreted as a 2 position switch, LAND/FLY

Aux1

Ok. Aux1 questions.
Aux down-is land
Aux center -is launch (does it have hover mode?)
Auc up- is launch no hover

Is this right?

So far, I have not used the gear switch. So, I am ok to just use aux then?

You got it! Aux center is with hover.

The AUX switch should yield a positive value when it is down (pulse length 1.9 ms), 0 when it is centered (1.5 ms pulse) and a negative value when it is up (1.1 ms pulse).

No you did not miss an update, I just bump the version number right after I send something out so I know exactly what is out there...

more iptables

MAGPS, the iptables command:
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p UDP ! -s 127.0.0.1 --dport 5556 -j DNAT --to :11000
makes all incoming packets for port 5556 go to port 11000 where they can be disected/modified.... This is a good point to insert the PCMD/REF commands from the Arduino program and still allowing the iDev application to talk to the drone (setup...).
I can't find an easy way, at least so far, how to get a hold of the outgoing navdata packets without loosing the destination information. Do you have any ideas?

Hope you can shed some light on what I am seeing. I did the setup and got the above..i.e stick movements are right...not sure I ever saw a LAND..but I did see FM_1 and FM_2. At any rate, the receiver Arduino seemed to be working...When I connect this to the drone, power up, the receiver bind light comes on green then starts flashing red-green...looks like the power is dropping. ( this is a guess ) If I connect my receiver 4.8v battery, the bind light stays green...which once again indicates that the receiver is losing power. Obviously, the Drone never loads...any idea?

Thanks for the great write up.
