For the first time today, I put the wings all together with the fuse to see how it looks. Better check the alignment and all before going further and having to redo the wing. Good for me, it's looking good.

So far, the whole plane as seen in the photo weighs 510 grams. And don't pay attention to the landing gears lying on the fuse. I put them there to counter balance the weight of the tail + elevators.
Looking amazing Sergio! I can't wait for the maiden flight!

Thanks guys!

And thanks for your offer Keenan but I have my flap track concept ready. I think I'm going to build the same for the slats but in a smaller size...

Little progress this morning.

building on!

Covered the top aft section and fixed the vertical tail! That thing is starting to get heavy back there!

None of you guys have an opinion on gyros? I was just thinking... They could simulate the fly-by-wire control laws of the real plane very well...

Hey Keenan, how's your ATR coming along?

Ok I'll have a look at it!

I've just figured out how I was going to do the tail cone! With a Duralex glass! Lol! As it's size fits quite well and it has the same form as the real tail cone, I'm going to reproduce it in depron and have it fixed back there.

set it up, so that the up aileron side activates the spoiler on that side, instead of the upgoing aileron? then have the downgoing aileron operate as it normally would. this way, you should be able to mix the spoilers to either operate as spoilerons and also speed brakes on landing. just a thought.

You read through my mind Keenan! That's exactly what I intended to do. My problem (sort of) is that i only have 8 channels on my Tx/Rx (Turnigy 9X). So I got stuck at some point in my thinking :
I wanted to have one single servo operating both aileron and outboard spoiler on one wing, there would be no problems when the ailerons (with the spoilers) go up. But when they go down... the spoiler on that side of the wing might not like it... it's obvious I'm lacking experience here. If you have any suggestions...

Finished the tailcone and did some vertical/horizontal stabilizer detail.
