An Evening with Two Favorite Planes - GYM-E and TM

This was the BEST !!

This was the best evening of flying since April for me. I had been watching the breeze go more and more calm all day and knew that this was going to be a night to not miss. I had charged the GYM-e and I keep the TM charged, so when the time was right, I loaded up the truck and headed for the field.

Conditions were almost dead calm. I flew a few rounds with the TM to warm up and then switched to the GYM-E. It was so much fun to fly and give it some exercise. It would climb in the thermal that was beginning to form over the alfalfa field. I also flew some low close-in passes and simply enjoyed the marvel of a flying machine so close to me.

Then it was time to put the TM up for the sunset patrol. What a beautiful evening this was turning out to be! The setting sun was turning the clouds gold, so I enjoyed the silhouette of my TM passing in front of the sky.

I hope you get a chance for a nice evening of flying like I had tonight.

Roger

A Real Treat!

Hi Thumbs,

It sure was good! I got so excited as I realized what was about to happen that I was shaking the little camera! I liked these the best. I used my Aiptek 1.3 to get the pictures. I amstill thrilled with what it can do.

Thanks,

Roger

Wow, great pics.

It doesn't get much better than that Roger. Two great planes, some nice calm weather, getting some relaxation and enjoying the spectical of your plane dancing across the beautiful sunset.

Did the same thing last Tuesday

Flew my Gym-E and Tigermoth in the evening at dead calm conditions. Are those great planes, or what!

Great pix Roger ... I try to fly my Gym-E at dusk when its calm as much as I possibly can. It's a great way to relax and is a nice change of pace from the faster, aerobatic planes I usually fly. Thanks for shariing.

Awesome pictures Roger. It seems as though, you directed the sunset to set with a golden array of lights just for the TM and Gym-E....

Sure is pretty
