DLE 30 Single bolt prop adapter install?

This is my 1st gas engine, my 1st powerplant that is not electric, and I bought this single bolt/hole prop adapter to convert my DLE 30 from 4 prop bolts to one (I tend to break props). Anyway I got the adapter and it has no instructions on the install. Only instructions I could find on the web were from Valley View RC, but no pics and they state that I need to cut off part of the shaft???

Anyway I am stuck on step one trying to find a deep well socket to remove the prop hub nut. Any ideas what size the nut is and where to find a deep/thin walled socket to fit this?

When I downloaded that I could not get the pics to see. With your attachement I WAS able to see the pics! A picture or pictures are definitely worth 10,000 words in this case!

Thanks again. STUPID question, what is the rope for anyway?

I believe the rope is a cushion between the inside of the cylinder head and the top of the piston.
