You guys were talking about the gear fairings and how they mate to the fuse and their strength etc. On my Wind 110 I used some of those elastic loops that the girls use to put their hair up in pony tails. Got them at Wal Mart. Held them in place with some medium CA and it made them very rigid.

Neat idea!
I was figuring I'd mask the area off and run a bead of hot glue down the seam and smooth it out with a wet finger. |

I think I might try a bead of RC56 glue and see how that holds. I seen were someone put a bead of silicone also. I was surprised how much more strength they gave to the landing gear.

Sounds like a plan. I like the slicone idea. Although there's no shortage of ponytail elestics laying around my house with 3 women living here!

Got some more work done. Not much left except to mount motor, controller, program radio and check cg.
