In the specs the Arrowind is showing 50 more rpm per volt and 15 grams lighter then the Eflite. Does this actually show up in the real world? Has anyone compared RPM's between the two at WOT with the same ESC and Battery?

Orion,

Both motors were tested side by side thoroughly and it was found that they perform identical. This was confirmed at the NATS as in racing side by side, they were very much the same.

The Eflight is smaller in dia and longer versus the Arrowind being larger in dia and shorter. The Arrowind is 14 pole versus the 12 pole Eflite.

Hi Dave,
Yes. Any speed controller with minimum 60 Amp rating is currently legal.

Thank you Iceman, nice info to know. Is there going to be a turnigy motor to replace the one no longer made or is that line dead to the EF-1 class now? I was thinking of running the cheaper turnigy during the winter for practice and using one of the more expensive ones as the full race motor in the spring.

As it stands now I only have one Outrageous kit left and 6 Miss Dara kits. Once these are sold, I don't plan to offer them again.

Dan
Dan, Am I reading this correctly.... will you be offering these in ARF, or is this coming from another company?

I had read the Miss Dara is to be offered from Nitro Planes, is this the same reference?

Thanks!

That is correct. Jerry and I have released the Designs of both the Outrageous and the Miss Dara to companies that will be producing ARF versions of them. They are our designs and are the same as the ones that people are flying now.

Nitro Planes, is working on the Miss Dara and they do have plans of releasing this year yet.
