Yeah, you're right, mine is the same as yours.

I think it may fit though, I guess I need to get the gear & wack it in.

Yeah, looks like I'll have to.

How difficult is it to get one of those crazy arsed 16S ESCs?

Actually I better ask the owner of that Red Rocket the dimensions unless they are list on the Fightercat site.

OK Guys,

here are some pictures!

As you can see the rear bracket is on its place, but I can't line up the flex cable with the motor shaft. The motor cooler is touching the floor and I cant move the front of the motor i little more down to line up everything.

Any suggestions?

almost looks like if you could cut out the mount from the floor and turn it around, maybe cut the hole slotted and then reglue it to the floor it may work,

For that small amount, I'd file off the bottom front edge of the water jacket at the same angle as the bottom of the hull & slot the front screw holes down in the motor mount.
You should get the right depth before you hit the O ring slot.
Another option is to make a new bracket for the rear ring mount & move the ring as far back as you can so you can slide the cooling jacket further back. That should allow the front to drop down. You will still have to slot the front mounting holes down too.
Paul.

I think the problem your having with the motor fouling the floor is possibly because the reinforcement you did to the mounts looks to of raised the floor level around the mounting plates, maybe you could sand a channel in the reinforcing fibreglass.

To me that mount is backwards, the elongated hole should be at the back on the ring and not nearest the shaft, reason being any vibration in the shaft could loose the bolts causing the mount to slideand put the flexi out of line, if the circular holes were at the front this couldn't happen as the front mount would buffer the vibration.

I just bought my Leopard & cooling jacket from eBay.

Once I receive it I'll see how I go with my install, Taki, & if I experience the same problem I'll try some other things before I go grinding my cooling jacket.

How can a branded Leopard motor not be the same?

They ALL come from China, I'm just cutting my costs by getting it from Hong Kong.

The part numbers are all the same too.

Plus, free postage too!

I'm about to drop a Leopard 4082 1600kv & SF 200 ESC in to my Genesis & I'm wondering whether an Octura X447/3 or a X450/3 would be too much prop for the setup running 6S?

Currently have a X440/3 installed.

Also, what's the most accurate balancer that OSE sell?

Mozzy just had a thought
are you going to offset the rudder if not running a 47mm prop is very close to the rudder bracket and will cause cavitation and you wont be able to get your prop up high enough, which means youll be lifting the transom and the front will be ploughing the water
I tried running a 47mm on my saga and experienced as above
